The air was still and tense.
The heat of the noon sun, beat down on Darkat Prideshield, heating his Plate armour until it was uncomfortable against his fur,
already damp and matted from the sweat and exertion of the day.
Despite the discomfort he dared not move, crouched in a defensive stance, locked behind his tower shield, he waits,
"There is still one more, I know it!", he thinks.
A quick glance around at the still cooling bodies of several large, furred creatures scattered on the muddy ground around him.
